Talk:Legend of Mount Hood - Part 01.jpg[edit]

[Copied from the above, as talk pages without an attached main page are not accepted here.]

No meaningful content or history[edit]

Greetings @Beeswaxcandle, I was curious as to why this was considered to be unmeaningful and unrelated to history.

This appears to be a possible indigenous legend of the origins or activities of the mountain as passed down by the descendants of the people in the area. I thought it was an interesting part of history that would be good to examine further as to how it relates to the culture, geography, geology, and other fields of study.

I believe it is still part of a larger work so it is just not standing it's own, so no real big deal, but I just wanted to make sure I understand better as to why it was deleted to prevent doing the same in the future.

Thanks! Terrickisaiah555 (talk) 16:58, 30 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

The problem was that it was an empty header with no content following. You possibly created it in the wrong namespace, given it had a file extension—which is never done in the main namespace. As a side note, while jpg files are occasionally used here, the strong preference is to obtain a djvu or pdf version. Beeswaxcandle (talk) 18:11, 30 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
I see, thank you for the information @Beeswaxcandle. I had a feeling I may not have gone about it correctly. I'll check out the resources a bit more and maybe try to implement it again correctly in the future. Terrickisaiah555 (talk) 19:36, 30 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

The File and Index were moved, as you requested[edit]

You requested the file be renamed, so I did and corrected the Index to match. Please use the new Index, not the old one with the horrendous name. --EncycloPetey (talk) 03:23, 6 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

sounds good, thank you! AHIOH (talk) 04:37, 6 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
