User:EncycloPetey
Welcome to my user page. I'm really much more active on Wiktionary than Wikisource, but come here often to find citations for Wiktionary entries.
I don't expect to contribute much in terms of source texts, but have occasionally discovered that some important text is not yet available here, and have given in to doing the work of adding it. I was recently shocked to find that none of the works of Henry Fielding were available. As a pioneer of the English novel and major 18th century playwright, he deserves to have here a proper selection of his works. It also happens that this year (2007) marks his 300th birthday, so I am doubly eager to rectify the injustice of his long absence from Wikisource. I have begun with his most celebrated novel Tom Jones.
I also am very interested in improving temporal indexing of included works (so I can find citations of a particular date) and in adding dates to published works (for similar reasons).
