See User:Clockery/Sandbox1. Is this okay? —Clockery Fairfeld [sic] 09:07, 25 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Looks pretty good to me. Btw, it should be possible to grab the poem of the day dynamically by using a combination of the magic words {{CURRENTYEAR}}, {{CURRENTMONTHNAME}}, and {{CURRENTDAY}} and subpages (or maybe even section transclusion?) This would make it easier to schedule the Potd in advance. --Eliyak T·C 03:12, 26 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
We can probably also add a fall back position that if a poem isn't created that it picks a default, or cascades neatly. Alternatively, have a poem of the week. It would also be worthwhile to plan for a component that could be used to present how people can participate in the venture, either by transcription, or by suggestions. — billinghurst sDrewth 07:18, 26 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
My "vision" for this was some sort of table that could be pre-populated with the date, link, author, title, and brief blurb. The table would then feed into the template that then populates the mainpage. The link field must cope with anchors as some poetry pages have multiple poems on them.
