I went with the attribution to Caroline Mary Peachey according to Maurice Whitby as described in Ugly Ducklings? by Pedersen although that doesn't line up with the "late" in the later tales. That would point towards Caroline Peachey who died in Cirencester in December 1867. MarkLSteadman (talk) 22:49, 3 May 2020 (UTC)
