What are the Wikisource naming conventions for presidential memoranda pages? It seems some page titles for presidential memoranda include the names of the recipients, for example Delegation of Authority under the Global Magnitsky Human Rights Accountability Act to the Secretary of State and the Secretary of the Treasury, 2017 (where the recipients are the Secretary of State and the Secretary of the Treasury). Other page titles for presidential memoranda only include the subject of the memo, for example Investigation of violations of intellectual property rights and other unfair technology transfers (this was a memo delivered to the U.S. Trade Representative, but the recipient is not part of the page title here).

It seems to me that it would be good to use just the subject of the memo as the page title, and it is not necessary to put the recipients in the title. But either way, there should be some consistency here with the page titles. -JBhistorian (talk) 22:18, 4 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

There is no fixed standard. The more specific the better, in case there is more than one memorandum with nearly the same title. But there can be a redirect from one title or spelling to the main one. The only guidance is provided at Wikisource:Style guide, but some latitude is allowed. --EncycloPetey (talk) 22:22, 4 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
