Surprisingly few sources about Stinson. Here's are all the mentions of him that I've found:

  • "a little daughter of Dr. Floyd Stinson was bitten in the hand by a vicious cur" (source, 1869)
  • "Floyd Stinson, M. D., of Evansville, Ind.", author of "Mounds and Earthworks in Vandenburg County, Indiana" (source, 1883)
    • plus several indices mentioning this paper
  • "An account of the building of the first boat in the town of Evansville has been given to the public by Dr. Floyd Stinson" (source, 1889)
  • "Dr Floyd Stinson librarian" at a public library in Evansville (source, 1926)

I also found this: "There were many doctors, and lawyers in the Stinson family in Evansville, IN. They were big landholders." sourceBeleg Tâl (talk) 16:11, 8 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
