- Graduated BA on 26 February 1652
- Graduated MA on 21 June 1654
- Inherited his father's estate upon his father's death in 1672
- Contributed substantially to the relief fund after New Alresford’s Great Fire of 1689
- It is thought that he never married, and certainly produced no heir
- Died 10 May 1697
- Buried in parish churchyard at Old Alresford
- Estate was inherited by his younger brother Christopher
- In his will he left money to found Perins School in Alresford
