Determining author[edit]

The work at archive.org says Rev. John Parker, M.A.[1] and would indicate that adherent of Author:Edward Bouverie Pusey of Oxford and Church of England as faith[2] though not confirming that a student of Pusey (d.1882).

From the Alumni Oxoniensis, nothing clearly demonstrates that any of the John Parker's were authors, though a number of possibilities[3]. Nobody is noted as being an author.

Has been ordained [1], so checking of Crockford's Clerical Dictionary for 1885 and 1898 does not identify any as an author, which it would normally do if it was cited. Note that 1885 has 2x John, and 3x John +++, 3 have M.A. one of whom had the University of Durham, Gisborne Scholarship.[4] Only one of the Parker's "John Paget P." went to Oxford.

Check of Alumni Cantabrigiensis is no more illuminating.
