@Levana Taylor: This is what I can find definitively. Unaware of from where your 1871 date of death is derived, so I cannot confirm. There is a possible 1871 death for Richard Holland, though not Kent, so I hesitate. I cannot find his wife in 1871 census, though cannot see her father either (I believe the father-in-law is Hibbs, Richard (DNB00)). — billinghurst sDrewth 13:51, 31 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

ODNB article indicates that Richard Hibbs was travelling and had international positions "He was subsequently British chaplain at Lisbon, Rotterdam, and Utrecht." so quite possible that the son-in-law and daughter were similarly located. 1891 census shows them together with Cecilia being principal of a school, she is showing as widowed in 1891.

@Billinghurst: See Limerick Chronicle death announcement (died in Limerick not Kent). Combination of death age and marriage age tells us he was born in 1834. A short tribute by his friend the poet John James Piatt, who attended Kenyon with him, refers to him as "a native of Cork" (Odes in Ohio and Other Poems, p. 36) but I can't find actual documentation of that birth place.
