[edit]Some sources (e.g. the DNB) give Linley's birth year as 1732 rather than 1733. That is because he was born in 1732 in the Julian calendar, which was still in use in the UK at the time. In the Gregorian calendar his birth year is 1733. —Beleg Tâl (talk) 14:19, 11 July 2024 (UTC)
