WILLIAM WHITE
respectfully informs the public that he has NO CONNECTION with the men now canvassing for a New Edition of his History, Gazetter and Directory of Norfolk, which he intends republishing himseelf in a more comprehensive form than his two former editions. Many of the inhabitants of Lincolnshire and some other countries have lately had spurious and very inaccurate works palmed upon them, under the impression that they were the second editions of Mr. Wm. White's former publications. The citizens of Norwich and the inhabitants of Norfolk will do well to RESERVE their orders till they are called upon by Wm. White's Agents of which due notice will be given. W. W. never had any connection with the party callig themselves "White & Co."

Uncertain about the death, this fits the criteria closely, and I see has been claimed as the death in a family tree for this person, though the citation of the son JOHN as the executor does not align with 41<->61 family information. Less likely IMO. — billinghurst sDrewth 00:22, 8 April 2021 (UTC)

Very likely died in the 10 year period 1861 to 1871, no evidence of WW in 1871 census, nor indications of wife (2nd?) and daughter Amelia is living with brother Thomas in King's Lynn. — billinghurst sDrewth 00:30, 8 April 2021 (UTC)
