Articles in this category should either:

• be deleted if they fall within the deletion criteria. Either mark with {{sdelete}} if it clearly falls within the guidelines or add to Wikisource:Proposed deletions if it is unclear.
• be linked to from another article. This can usually be done by:
  • adding a link from the author's Author: page, if it exists.
  • creating an Author: page for the author, if one doesn't exist.
  • if the article is a speech, also link to it from Portal:Speeches.
  • if there are multiple authors, create a link from Portal:Collective works.
  • if the document concerns a specific country, add a link on the Portal:Texts by Country sub-page
  • if the author is unknown, link to Portal:Anonymous texts.
  • if there is no author, it usually falls into one of the following:
    • religious document, hymn, or prayer: add a link in the appropriate place on Portal:Religion.
  • if all else fails, link to it from Portal:Miscellaneous material.
