'tis[edit]

On page 19, 22, and subsequent pages, the abbreviation 'tis or 't is appears. On page 19, the difficulty is most obvious: a larger gap exists in the third line between the 't and the is, than exists between the t and i in the word abating in the line above, but not as large a gap as exists between other neighboring words on the page. On page 66, the word appears at the beginning of a line, and more resembles two separate words. Rather than try to reproduce the reduced spacing, I have rendered every instance as 't is, following the evidence of page 66. Note however, that this does not appear to be the convention followed by later editors, who have contracted the spelling to 'tis. --EncycloPetey (talk) 23:02, 28 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
