We should upload images from the ads as well as those from the text. Given the nature of the book and included advertisements, many of the images from the ads will be useful on Wikipedia for articles about technology, history, culture, etc. --EncycloPetey (talk) 02:57, 12 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Agree; the ads are really interesting in this book. See Commons:Category:The Cycle Industry (1921). Sorry I forgot to grayscale them before uploading. I'll go back and fix each one unless someone else wants to. done Moondyne (talk) 14:06, 27 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
How do we know the ads are out of copyright and loadable to wikicommons? Come to that how do we know the main book is out of copyright in Britain - do we have dates for Grew?--Laverock ( Talk ) 22:07, 27 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
We have the assurance of the Internet Archive that the work is "not in copyright". Further, it was published before 1923, and with no copyright statement. --EncycloPetey (talk) 17:34, 29 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
