@ShakespeareFan00: you've tagged some prefatory pages as copyright violations. It appears to me this entire book was published in the U.S. prior to 1924, so I'm not clear on what the problem would be. Can you put an explanation here on the talk page, and/or on the main header for The Life of the Spider, so that we (other editors and other readers) can better understand? -Pete (talk) 20:04, 24 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

The concern was that the author of the preface was French and died in 1949, The WS:CV discussion is Wikisource:Copyright_discussions#The_Life_of_the_Spider/Preface, But I won't contest restoration if you think, it's entirely a US edition. I leave that to your decision, but leave a note at WS:CV when you reach a decision. ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 20:11, 24 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
Thanks - I don't feel strongly either way, just wanted to be sure that readers and editors could easily find out what's going on. I'm inclined to wait for that discussion to run its course, and if relevant, leave a note in the work's header, summarizing its findings and linking to it. -Pete (talk) 20:17, 24 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
Per that discussion, reinstated the pages concerned. ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 08:27, 25 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
