Kde domov můj (Where is my home?)
by František Škroup (music) and Josef Kajetán Tyl (lyrics)

For the first time performed on December 21, 1834. Soon after Czechoslovakia was formed in 1918, the first strophe of the song became the Czech part of the national anthem. The split of Czechoslovakia in 1992 also divided the Czechoslovak anthem. The Czech Republic's national anthem has been legally adopted unextended, in its single-strophe version.Excerpted from Kde domov můj? on Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
