(c)members numbering not more than two thirds of the number of the members in the above two categories, who shall be appointed by His Gracious Majesty with the approval of the House of People's Representatives.

Section9.The Minister of Public Instruction shall be the Chair of the University Council ex officio, and the President of the University, the Vice Chair ex officio. The electoral commission shall elect any person from amongst or outside these members, who is qualified according to section 18, to serve as the Secretary General of the University Council.

Section10.The members elected and the members appointed by His Gracious Majesty shall be in their positions for two years, but they may be restored to those positions for two more years at a time.

Section11.The University Council has the following powers and duties:

(1)to lay down internal regulations of the University, such as regarding admission of applicants, discipline, and rate of fees;

(2)to consider for approval the improvement and revision of the details of the curriculum of each faculty;
