Section157.The Monarch wields the prerogative to enact royal decrees which are not contrary to the law.

Section158.The Monarch appoints and removes military and civil public servants [to and from] the positions of permanent secretaries, directors general, and equivalents.

Section159.Designation of qualifications of, instatement of, appointment of, removal of, and imposition of punishments upon public servants shall be as provided by the law.

Section160.Subject to section 14, section 18, section 19, section 82, section 85, section 116, section 140, and section 174, legal provisions, royal autographs,[1] and royal commands of any kind, which relate to the public services of the State, must be countersigned by a Minister.



Section161.Trial and adjudication of cases are the exclusive power of the courts, which must be carried out in accordance with the law and in the name of the Monarch.
