Y. ib. 78a bot. טבוחה הוא יומה its day (the festive day it- self) is its slaughtering day. -- 2) Taboah, name of a wind- storm (demon). Sabb. 129b.

טבח ch. same. Ber. 56a אכלת ולא טבחת thou shalt prepare and not eat. Sabb. 129b וכ׳ להו ט׳ הוה it (the wind or demon טבוח) would have feasted on them (the Israelites), on their flesh and their blood; a.e. -- V. מטבחייא. Pa. טבח same. Gen.
