27 Nov. (p.2) appears to have been burned. Some pot-hunter's relics in forms of holes, etc. In walls of some of these, a few frag's of bone and many of charcoal. Fill apparently to over 4 feet in at least some places. Picked up one frag. that appeared to be yucca fiber rope. These in the more westerly, double cave. More easterly one appears shallower with lesser fill. Returned to car and then house via Canutillo, east to N. Mex. 273, and Country Club Road. Enroute saw and attempted to collect 2 shrikes; also saw red-shafted flicker.

Vegetation: much Yucca, Dasylirion, A. lechuguilla, moderate amounts of Rhus microphylum, some manzanita & Quercus turbinella, Acacia constrictor, Apache Plume. One lone Juniperus monosperma found. A few (?) plants
