Mr. Martin moved, that the further consideration of the bill be postponed to the next session of the Legislative Council.

A bill making certain appropriations to be paid out of the territorial treasury for the year 1834.
The bill was read the first and second time.
The following bills were considered in committee of the whole, reported to the Council, ordered to be engrossed, read the third time, and passed:
A bill to authorize the sale of certain lands;
A bill to amend the act entitled "An act to provide for the inspection of certain articles therein mentioned;"
A bill in addition to the several acts for the relief and maintenance of the poor;
A bill to amend an act entitled "An act to incorporate the Detroit and St. Joseph Rail Road Company;"
A bill for the preservation of the records and proceeding of the governor and judges of the Territory of Michigan, in relation to the land titles in the city of Detroit;
A bill to incorporate the Shelby and Detroit Rail Road Company;
A bill for the relief of certain citizens of the township of Clinton, in the county of Macomb;
A bill for the relief of I. S. Rowland;
A bill to amend the act to establish circuit courts in certain counties and to define their powers and duties.
Mr. Millington, from the committee on enrolment, reported the several preceding acts as correctly enrolled; and the president announced, that he had presented them to the governor for his approbation.
Mr. Martin on leave granted, introduced a bill to amend an act entitled "An act concerning bail," approved April 22, 1833; which was read the first and second time, engrossed, read the third time and passed.
The said bill was enrolled, and presented to the governor for his approbation.
The Council resolved itself into a committee of the whole, on the bill in addition to an act entitled "An act to divide the township of Spring Wells;" and, after some time spent therein, the committee rose and reported the bill to the Council.
On motion of Mr. Stockton, the further consideration of the said bill was postponed to the next session of the Council.
