Invitations to the marriage feast at the bridegroom's house.

1諏初七日爲次男 國榮 受室喜筵2攀駕賜光

5住洋墩亭

1. Cheu ch‘u ch‘ek nik oi ch‘ëü nang Kwok Ing seu sek hi yong 2. P‘ang ka sëü kwong. 3. Sëü p‘eng.

4. Lau Tieu Sing chai pai.

5. Chëü Yong tong ting.

1. I have selected the 7th day for our second son Kwong Ing's marriage-feast. (May I) drag you, Sir, to bestow light. 3. Excuse me from sending again to hasten you.

4. Lau Tieu Sing repeatedly pays his respects.

5. We reside at Yong Tong Ting.

1. Chiéng ch‘u ch‘ek nik ing ch‘ëü nang ho Ling se-mieu-hiéng 2. Hi yong keng nga hiong kü lá hwoi 3. Se haiu chó chié.

4. Lau mwong Ting se cheng sëük pai.

1. I have selected the 7th day to lead forth (or introduce) my second son's bride, Miss Ling, to pay respects to the ancestors. 2. Have prepared a joyous feast and will respectfully welcome you in your fragrant chariot to teach us the ceremonies. 3. I await the early oiling.
