XIII. And be it alio enacted, That every Soldier or Mariner that (hall be taken begging in . Place within this Realm after the Fcaft of Eaftcr next, or any that (hall counterfeit any Certificate in Act expreffed, ihall for ever lofe his Annuity or Pennon, and (hall be taken, deemed and adj j common Rogue or Vagabond Perfon, and (hall ha e and fuftain the fame and the like Pains, Im • and Punilhment, as is appointed and provided for common Rogues and Vagabond Perfons. XIV. Provided always, and be it enacted, That all the Surplufagc of Money which ihall be remai:. in the Stock of any County, (hall by the Difcretion of the more Part of the Juftices of Peace in their Q ter-Seffions be ordered, diltributed and bellowed upon fuch good and charitable Ufes, and in fuch For are limited and appointed in the Statutes made and now in Force concerning Relief of the Poor, and Pu. ' flient of Rogues and Beggars. XV. Provided always, That the Juftices of Peace within any County of this Realm or J! ales fhall not in- tromit or enter into any City, Borough, Place or'Fown Corporate, where is any Juftice at' Peace tor any fuch City, Borough, Place or Town Corporate, for the Execution of any Article of this A3 ; (2) but th it ihall be lawful to the Juftice and JulHces of Peace, Mayors, Bailiffs and other Head Officers of thofi ties, Boroughs, Places and Towns Corporate, where there is any Juftice of Peace, to proceed to t cution of this Act within the Precinct and Compafs of their Liberties, in fuch .Manner as- the Juftices <of Peace in any County may do by Virtue of this Act: (3) And that evcrv Juftice of Peace within fuch City, Borough, Place or Town Corporate, for every Offence by hJm committ d, Contrary to the Meaning of this Statute, fhall be finable, as other Juftices of Peace at the la.ge in the Counties are i ; - Act appointed to be : (4) And that the Mayor and Juftices of Peace, in every fuch City, Borough, I and Town Corporate, ihall have Authority by this prefent Act to appoint any Perfon for the receiving of the faid Money, and paying the fame within fuch City, Borough, Place or Pour.'
