XCVIII. And be it further enailcd and ordained by the Authority aforefaid. ' or of any Perfon or Perfons, for the Ule or Account of fuch Draper, or other Trader or Dealer, for Sale, without having thereupon fuch Marks or Stamps as are by this Adl required, to denote the Payment or Charging of the laid Duties thereupon ; it fhall and may be lawful to and for the Commiffioners, who fhall be appointed for the faid Duties upon Silks, Callicoes, Linens, or Stuffs, printed, painted, flained, or dyed in Great Britain, or the major Part of them, within the Limits of the Weekly Bills of Mortality, or any two Juftices of the Peace in any other Parts of the Kingdom oi Great Britain, from time to time, to iffue their refpeftive Warrants or Orders, thereby authorizing and requiring any Officer or Officers for the fame Duties (with the Affsflrance of a Confiablc, or other Officers of the Peace) in the Day-time, to fearch for the fame, and to open Doors, Chefts, Trunks, and Package, and to feize fuch Goods, and to bring them to the Office for the faid Duties next to the Place where they fhall he fo feized, in order to a further Proceeding thereupon according to this A£t; and that every fuch Warrant and Order fhall and may be obeyed and executed accordingly. XCIX.
