nnd with the Advice and Confent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this prefent Parliament afTembled, and by the Authority of the fame, That the faid two Orders of the High Court of The kid two Chancery be confirmed, and that the lame (hall be henceforwards obferved and kept, unlefs in fuch Points Ontencon, as fhall be varied in this prefent Act, or fhall at any Time hereafter be varied or changed by the High Court firml •' J • of Chancery, according as the laid Court fhall, from the Exigency or Circumftances of Affairs, judge rea- fonahle or proper. III. And to the End the Account between the Suitors of the High Court of Chancery and the Bank of An Accountant ; England may be the more regularly and plainly kept, and the State of fuch Account may be at all Times General of the fcen and known, Be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That there fhall be one Perfoh appointed Court of cl,an - by the High Court of Chancery, to act, perform, and do all fuch Matters and Things relating to the De- i 2 Geoa.c.'a* livery of the Suitors Money and Effects into the Bank, and taking them out of the Bank, and the keep- ing the Accounts with the Bank, and all other Matters relating thereto, as in and by the faid recited Or- ders, or either of them, are prefcribed and dirc-ftcd to be done and performed by the Mafters and Ufher of the faid High Court of Chancery, which faid Officer fo to be appointed fhall be called the Accountant General of the Court of Chancery, and fhall hold fuch Office during the Pleafure of the faid Court ; a:id an Account fhall be kept in his Name with the Bank of England for and on the Behalf of the Suitors of the faid Court of Chancery, in fuch Manner as is directed by the faid recited Orders, with refpect to the Ma- ilers of the faid Court and the Bank; and the fame Rules, Methods and Directions, as are prefcribed by the faid Orders to the Suitors, the Mafters, Ufher and Bank, as to the delivering into, and taking out of the Bank the Monies and Effects of the Suitors, and other Matters therein contained, fhall be oblerved by the Suitors, the Bank, and the faid Accountant General, unlefs where the Court of Chancery fhall,. according to the Exigency and Circumftances or Affairs, otherwife determine and appoint. IV. And it is hereby further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That the faid Accountant General fhall, Accountant to* as to the feveral Regulations and Directions prefcribed in the faid "Orders, ftand and be in the Place and b j: '" '^ e . hce Room of the Mafters, and Ufher of the faid Court, and fhall receive no other Fee or Reward from the Sui- and ufher ot - tors for the Exercife of his faid Office, than what is .allowed to the Mafters in and by the faid Order of the the Court, twenty-fixth Day of May one thoufand feven hundred and twenty-five; and the feveral Mafters and Ufher of the Court of Chancery, their Executors and Adminiftrators, are hereby required with convenient Speed, to make up their feveral Accounts with the faid Accountant General, or any .otherPerfon thereunto authorized by the Court of Chancery, of all the Monies, Securities and Effects of the Suitors of the faid Court in their Cuftody, or under their Direction or Care; and to pay and deliver into the Bank all Monies, . Depofits and Effects of the Suitors of the faid Court yet remaining in their feveral Hands, there to be car- ried to the Account of the faid Accountant General, and to be placed caufewife or otherwife, as is alrea- dy, or fhall hereafter be directed by the faid Court ; and all Monies, Depofits and Effects of the Suitors of the faid Court, already depofited with or delivered to the Bank by the faid Mafters or Ufher, or on their Ac- count, fhall in like Manner be carried to the Account of the faid Accountant General, and be placed caufe- wife or otherwife, as is already or fhall hereafter be directed by the faid Court ; and the faid Mafters and Ufher, their Executors and Adminiftrators, fhall be indemnified and discharged of and from all Monies, Depofits and Effects of the laid Suitors, fo paid or delivered into the Bank as aforefaid. V. And it is hereby further enacted, That- all Mortgages, Tallies", Orders, Stocks, Annuities, and other Mortgages, «.-c. transferable Securities, now in the Name of any of the faid Mafters or Ufher, either fingiy by them- now in the felves, or jointly with others, in Truft for the Suitors of the faid Court, fhall be affigned and transferred Name of Ma- to the faid Accountant General ; and fuch Affignments and Transfers fhall be freed and difcharged from f'^to'the the Stamp-Duty, and from any other Duty impofed thereon by Act of Parliament; and that all Mortga- Accountant, ges, Tallies, Orders, Stocks, Annuities, and other transferable Securities, to be hereafter taken by the Directions of the faid Court for the Benefit of any of the Suitors fhall, if appointed to be taken in the Name of any Officer of the faid Court, be taken in the Name of the faid Accountant General ; and that in all fuch Affignments and Transfers to the faid Accountant General, as alfo in all fuch other transfer- Table Securities, to be hereafter taken in his Name, the particular Truft fhall be fpecified and inferted in the Alignment, Transfer or Security itfelf ; and fuch other Rules and Methods of proceeding fhall be had and obferved with refpect to fuch transferable Securities, by the Accountant General and others, as by the faid recited Orders are refpectively appointed to be obferved by the Mafters, Ufher, and others. VI. VII. And it is hereby further enacted, That from and after the Death or Removal of any Accountant AfterDeath.&c.
