Annuities transferrable XXXVI. And be it further enacted, That all the Annuities aforefaid fhall be transferrable at the at the Bank. Bank of England. Cafiiier of the Bank to XXXVII. And be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That the Cafhier or Cafhiers of give Receipts for the the Governor and Company of the Bank of England, who fhall have received or fhall receive any Monies paid in : Part of the faid Contributions towards the faid Sum of two millions and eight hundred thoufand Pounds, fhall give a Receipt or Receipts in Writing to every fuch Contributor for all fuch Sums, ■which are affignable at and that the Receipts to be given fhall be affignable, by Indorfement thereupon made, at any Time any Time before 5 Dec. before the fifth Day of December one thoufand feven hundred and fixty-three, and no longer. 1763. Cafhier to give Security ; XXXVIII. Provided always, That fuch Cafhier or Cafhiers fhall give Security to the good Liking of any three or more of the Commiflioners of the Treafury, or the High Treafurer for the Time being, for duly anfwering and paying into the Receipt of his Majefty's Exchequer for the Publick Ule, all the Monies which they have already received, and fhall hereafter receive from time to time, of and for the faid Sum of three millions and five hundred thoufand Pounds, and for ac- »nn to pay the Monies counting" duly for the fame, and for Performance of the Truft hereby in them repofed ; and fhall into the Exchequer. f ro m time to time pay all fuch Monies as foon as he or they fhall receive the fame, or any Part thereof, or within five Days afterwards at the fartheft, and fhall account for the fame-in the Ex- chequer, according to the due Courfe thereof, deducting thereout fuch Sums as fhall have been paid by him or them in purfuance of this Act; for which Sums fo paid Allowance fhall be made in his or th^ir Accounts. Treafury to apply the XXXIX. And be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That it fhall and may be lawful ™Tb™ h-UTm™* for three or mor3 of the Commiflioners of the Treafury, or the High Treafurer for the Time be- vate y e ommons. .^ tQ fiae and apply, from time to time, all fuch Sums of Money as fhall be fo paid into the Receipt of his Majefty's Exchequer by the faid Cafhier or Cafhiers, to fuch Services as fhall then have been voted by the Commons of Great Britain in this prefent Seflion of Parliament. And be it further enaited by the Authority aforefaid, That in the Office of the Accomptant ficeoflt^Ac'comiftant" General of the Governor and Company of the Bank of England for the Time being, a Book or 'Cuneial of the Bank. Books fhall be provided and kept, in which the Names of the Contributors fhall be fairly entered ; which Book or Books the faid refpective Contributors, their refpect ive Executors, Adminiftrators, Succeffors and Afligns, fhall and may from time to time, and at all feafonable Times, refort to and infpedl
