C ., title 21, sees. 1-15), entitled "An Act for preventing the manufacture, sale, or transportation of adulterated, or misbranded, or poisonous, or deleterious foods, drugs, medicines, and liquors, and for regulating traffic therein, and for other pur- poses", as amended ; to cooperate with associations and scientific societies in the revision of the United States pharmacopoeia and development of methods of analysis, and for investigating the char- acter of the chemical and physical tests which are applied to Ameri- can food products in foreign countries, and for inspecting the same before shipment when desired by the shippers or owners of these pro ducts intende d for countri es where chemi cal and physi cal tests are required before the said products are allowed to be sold therein, $1,750,000 : Provided, That not more than $4,280 shall be used for travel outside the United States . Enforcement of the Tea Importation Act : For enabling the Sec- retary of Agriculture to carry into effect the provisions of the Act approved March 2, 1897 (U . S.
