Weird rendering[edit]

For some reason paragraphs 12 (twelve) and 13 (thirteen) aren't separated when this template is used, but they appear normally here. --Donald Trung (talk) 15:30, 29 November 2017 (UTC) Donald Trung (talk) 15:30, 29 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Here's what the templates are doing behind the scenes. Dunno what's going wrong there, maybe someone more knowledgeable can figure it out at Wikisource:Scriptorium/Help. Prosody (talk) 00:27, 30 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
@Donald Trung, @Prosody: Sorry for those weird templates. When I first arrived on The art of war, someone has tried to match-and-split it and it was half-way done. I tried finishing the job and I re-used some template someone else made for bilingual texts, even though the link to sources pages does not appear in the transclusion.
This problem appears as soon as there are only 2 paragraphs in a section in the page. Compare: Page 101 and Page 102 in the transclusion Section VI. I expected that the introduction of the commentary between those translation would solve the problem by adding more paragraph.
The only solution/trick I found so far is making an artificial 3rd paragraph by using a like in the page 75 : check this diff and its transclusion in Section III. This solution is far from perfect so if you ever find a better way to fix this problem/the template for bilingual text...
