The width of the items are broader than the earlier page and is not looking good. Can someone correct it.--Rajasekhar1961 (talk) 15:06, 3 August 2019 (UTC)

@Rajasekhar1961: The trick here is that to get a consistent visual appearance the table has to continue across the pages. We do that by placing the end-table markup down in the "Footer" which is automatically wrapped in noinclude tags. This has the effect of showing the table as complete on the page, but open ended when transcluded. We then do the opposite on the following page: move the table-start markup into the "Header" but leave the end-table markup as usual. The net result is that when editing in the Page: namespace each table looks like a complete individual table, and when transcluded into the main namespace they get combined into a single table with consistent column widths etc.

Note that for technical reasons, when continuing markup constructs across pages we sometimes need to use the {{nop}} and {{nopt}} templates. These are somewhat "magical" and often require experience and trial and error to figure out when to use. But a good rule of thumb is that when a paragraph of text ends at the end of a page, you need {{nop}} at the end to avoid it being smushed together with the new paragraph that starts on the next page. And when continuing tables across pages you will often need {{nopt}} on the following page to prevent the table syntax being broken. --Xover (talk) 09:22, 5 August 2019 (UTC)
