First of all, Thanks for proactive support from all of you.

My suggessions not immidiate but over a period of time; I suppose actually concept of portal and project are meant to be different, About Indian laws. As of now it seems to be overlapping. Secondly I suppose if transcription projects can be categorised subjectwise it will be easier for navigation for new comers.

Warm regards

@Mahitgar: As for overlap, this can be resolved by moving extract indices to full indices; e.g., moving the pages of Index:Indian Copyright Act 1957.djvu to appropriate locations at Index:Acts of the Parliament of India 1957.djvu. Hrishikes (talk) 16:44, 27 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This prposition is not clear enough to me, whether your proposition will be more helpfull and intutive to a new comer editor and reader ?

Mahitgar (talk) 17:04, 27 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Mahitgar: Full books are preferred here to extracts. The version of the Indian Copyright Act 1957 present here is not from the Gazette of India directly. It is from the annual compilation of the Law Ministry. Therefore, in the long run, someone will move it to the full index. If you want to keep it definitely separate, then it should be taken directly from the Gazette, available at http://egazette.nic.in/WriteReadData/1957/E-2158-1957-0015-98471.pdf Hrishikes (talk) 01:39, 28 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The Indian Penal Code - Morgan and MacPherson - 1863.djvu[edit]
