Restoring text[edit]

The first posting of Morshead's Seven against Thebes to en-Wikisource was as follows:

Information about this edition
Edition: English translation of Greek drama
Source: Internet Classics Archive
Contributor(s): Mtmelendez
Level of progress: 50%
Notes: As with all ancient Greek dramas, the correct interpretation of the Greek work may vary, depending on the original work's condition. Therefore, varying English translations may exist.
Proofreaders:

The ICA copy contains stage directions and labels sections of the choral parts, neither of which appear in Morshead's translation. It is unclear who annotated the text, when the annotations were added, and whether they have ever been published. Since these additions are not part of the original text, and since their copyright status is unclear, the ICA text will be replaced by a transcluded 1908 copy of Morshead's translation of the play, rather than preserved as an alternative edition. --EncycloPetey (talk) 16:36, 5 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
