Was the source for this the 1831 edition? It does not match my copy of the 1818 edition, but I don't have a copy of the 1831 edition, so I can't verify that this is the 1831. Webbbbbbber 03:13, 18 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think this is the 1831 edition (see for instance the end of 1st chapter). Marc (talk) 11:57, 7 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Updated.[edit]

... but there was no table of contents. I added a faked one on a free page at the beginning of the book. Cobalt~frwiki (talk) 11:37, 23 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I removed a page of title unneeded in a page for a table of contents.[edit]

See the title of this section. Cobalt~frwiki (talk) 13:10, 24 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The main page of the work should have the front matter, especially the title page, and not just the table of contents. --EncycloPetey (talk) 21:15, 24 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
My opinion : the main page should only show the real content of a book and how to access to it through hyperlinks, not a pages with a title and others infos already in the header, or two drawings. Cobalt~frwiki (talk) 07:54, 26 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
To make it short : it looks like a useless (x4 with the header) redondancy and esthetically is not nice. Cobalt~frwiki (talk) 09:25, 27 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
