The page numbers seem way off. 700+ pages for a monthly magazine just after the Civil War?... don't think so. It would be nice if anyone who has access to the Atlantic Monthly site could look up the real page numbers in the archives(probably 16x instead of 76x). I changed them to 16x and put a note about the page numbers. - tholex , April 17, 2006
