Why are the links different?[edit]

In the transclusion, the links are blue, and redirect to each of the chapters. However, the links are red in the actual pages of the index (most likely due to relative links). Does anyone know a solution to this? Thanks, Thatoneweirdwikier Say hi 07:04, 28 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it's because they are relative links. As I learned when you asked about this re: Some Cities and San Francisco, and Resurgam, relative links are intended only to be used in headers (where this problem doesn't come up), not on pages themselves. I had not previously understood that, and lots of tables of contents (etc.) that I've worked on have this problem. I don't know that it's worth "fixing," as the reader-facing pages work fine; it's up to you. If you want to change them to absolute links, though, I'd be OK with that. -Pete (talk) 17:22, 28 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I probably won't bother, unless we need to. Thanks, Thatoneweirdwikier Say hi 09:20, 29 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
