Toc and subpages[edit]

@Cygnis insignis: cf. Page:The iron heel.djvu/13. The usual convention is for the chapter titles, rather than the chapter numbers, to be linked; and for the subpages to have the initial letter capitalized (i.e. "/Chaper 1" rather than "/chapter 1"). Are you married to the status quo? --Xover (talk) 13:12, 3 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Also, since the foreword actually appears in the work's table of contents I would suggest moving that too to a subpage ("/Foreword"). Both for consistency and because ebook readers of various stripes treat that slightly nicer. Xover (talk) 13:23, 3 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I must look into scripting tocs for export, but I don't see a problem otherwise (rather, this is one of the solutions I've arrived at while considering the options for over a decade). The link titles literally match the label, chapter # in this case, a good practice at all the sisters. If that creates a concern for front-matter on export, it could be anchored with that name. Feel free to demonstrate your views on the next index you complete. CYGNIS INSIGNIS 13:58, 3 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
