- Blessed be you, outer gate,
- blessed be you, light dwelling.
- Blessed be you, great shining beings,
- mighty, great light beings.
- Blessed, praised and glorified
- be the Uthras who dwell at the Jordan.
- You Jordan be gentle for these souls who have descended into you.
- And healing be to them for the sake of truthful speech and the raising of the Jōkabar-Zīwā.
- And life is victorious.
Commentary[edit]
- This is the firming of the Jordan.
- When you "firm" the Jordan, when you baptize (several) souls, say as it is written.
- If the soul is One, say "the soul of the NN who descended into you."
- Then go up to the shore and read "out of the Jordan I went up".
