Paragraph 1 - On hol hamoed, some labors are prohibited and some are permitted. Rem"a: According to the need, the Sages saw fit to permit.

סעיף א - חל המועד אסור בקצת מלאכות ומתר במקצתן. הגה: לפי צרך הענין שהיה נראה לחכמים להתיר.
