Shulchan Aruch Orach Chaim 554

Things that are forbidden on Tisha B'Av	דברים האסורים בתשעה באב
554:1 Tisha be-Av is prohibited for bathing, anointing, wearing [leather] shoes, and bedroom activity, and it is forbidden to read from Torah, Ne-vee-im or Ke-too-vim, or to learn Mishna, Midrash, Gemarah, Halachot or Agadot , since it says "The commands of hashem are proper, [and] bring joy to the heart" (Tehilim 19,9), school children in school are idle from learning on it, but one {an adult} can read Iyov and the negative sections in Yermiyah. If among them {these texts} there are any comforting verses, one should skip them.	סעיף א תשעה באב אסור ברחיצה וסיכה ונעילת הסנדל ותשמיש המטה, ואסור לקרות בתורה נביאים וכתובים, ולשנות במשנה ובמדרש ובגמרא בהלכות ובאגדות, משום שנאמר פקודי ה' ישרים משמחי לב (תהילים יט, ט) ותינוקות של בית רבן בטלים בו אבל קורא הוא באיוב ובדברים הרעים שבירמיה; ואם יש ביניהם פסוקי נחמה, צריך לדלגם.
554:2 It is permitted to learn Midrash on Eichah and the chapter [of Talmud] "Ay-loo meh-gal-chin" {These [people are permitted to] shave [during chol ha-mo-ed]} {Chapter 3 of Mo-ed Kattan}, and similarly to learn commentaries on Eichah and commentaries on Iyyov.	סעיף ב ומותר ללמוד מדרש איכה ופרק אלו מגלחין, וכן ללמוד פירוש איכה ופירוש איוב.
554:3 There are those that forbid learning by way of general thoughts.	סעיף ג יש מי שאוסר ללמוד ע"י הרהור.
554:4 It is permitted to read the entire order for the day {daily prayers}, the [Torah] readings for the Korbanot, the Mishna of "Ey-ze-hoo Me-kom-un" {Mishna describing the manner of offering Korbanot} and the Midrash of Rabbi Yishmael. Rema Note: It is permitted to review the [Torah] portions for the day on on the ninth of Av {for the purpose of reading them for the congregation} (Minhagim).	סעיף ד ומותר לקרות כל סדר היום, ופרשת הקרבנות, ומשנת איזהו מקומן, ומדרש רבי ישמעאל. הגה: ומותר לחזור הפרשה בתשעה באב (מנהגים).
554:5 Women who are pregnant or nursing, fast on Tisha Be-Av in a way similar to how they fast or had to be Mashlim [i.e. postpone (for vital necessity) on Yom Kippur] but for the other three fasts they are exempt from fasting. Nevertheless it is proper that they do not eat for pleasure with [quantity or selection of] food and drink, rather as much as is needed for the needs of the infant (See earlier Siman 550, Se'if 1)	סעיף ה עוברות ומיניקות מתענות בט' באב כדרך שמתענות ומשלימות ביום כפור; אבל בג' צומות אחרים פטורים מלהתענות, ואף על פי כן ראוי שלא תאכלנה להתענג במאכל ובמשתה, אלא כדי קיום הולד (וע"ל סי' תק"נ סעיף א').
