סדר קריאת התורה ומילה ביו"כ |
621:1[edit]We take out two Torah scrolls. In the first, we read six sections from Aharei Mot until "And they did according to God's command" [Leviticus 16:34]. If it falls on Shabbat, we read seven sections. The maftir reads from the second Torah from Pinchas "And on the tenth of the [seventh] month" [Numbers 29:7]. The haftarah is from Isaiah, "Saying 'Build up, build up! Prepare'" [57:14] until "because the mouth of God speaks" [58:14]. |
סעיף א מוציאין שני ספרים בראשונה קורים ששה בפרשת אחרי מות עד ויעש כאשר צוה ה' ואם חל בשבת קוראים שבעה ומפטיר קורא בשניה בפנחס ובעשור לחודש ומפטיר בישעיה ואמר סלו סלו פנו עד כי פי ה' דבר: |
621:2[edit]We do circumcisions on Yom Kippur between yotzer and Mussaf, after the Torah reading. After the circumcision, we say Ashrei (the custom is to circumsize after Ashrei (Minhagim)). If [the baby] is in a place that they will need to leave the synagogue, the circumcision is not done until the Torah is returned. Afterwards, we say kaddish. |
סעיף ב מילה ביום הכפורים מלין בין יוצר למוסף אחר קריאת התורה ולאחר המילה אומרים אשרי (והמנהג למול אחר אשרי) (מנהגים) ואם הוא במקום שצריך לצאת מבית הכנסת אין מלין עד אחר חזרת ס"ת וחוזרים ואומרים קדיש: |
621:3[edit]We bless on the circumcision without a cup [of wine] (there are those who say that we bless with a cup and give it to the circumcised baby, and this is our practice). |
סעיף ג מברכין על המילה בלא כוס (וי"א דמברכים בכוס ונותנין לתינוק הנימול וכן נוהגין): |
621:4[edit]During Mussaf, the hazzan says the Avodah service. Rem"a: The practice is to fall on our faces when we say "and the priests and nation" and also in "aleinu l'shabeach." The hazzan is forbidden to move from his spot during prayer to fall on his face. We should stop those who do this. |
סעיף ד במוסף אומר שליח צבור סדר עבודה: הגה ונוהגין ליפול על פניהם כשאומרים והכהנים והעם וגם בעלינו לשבח אבל ש"צ אסור לעקור ממקומו בשעת התפלה כדי לפול על פניו ויש למחות ביד העושים כן: |
