This construct is more a portal[edit]
@Iudexvivorum: The way that this page is set up is outside of how we would normally present in the main or translation namespace. The main and translation namespace are for the works themselves as published. This page is a construct and as such it belongs in the portal namespace, especially with all the variety amendments which themselves belong here as a separate published item, though the sense-making and construction of the explanation is portal namespace. — billinghurst sDrewth 22:27, 2 February 2017 (UTC)
- Wikisource:What Wikisource includes discusses that we are not trying to maintaining dynamic documents, we maintain the published edition of the work at the time of the publication, so in the legislation space we may have four copies of a similar documents being the legislation as it was passed in 1957, year+, year++, year+++. — billinghurst sDrewth 22:31, 2 February 2017 (UTC)
- Hello, Mr @Billinghurst:
- In fact, all the editions appearing or to be appear on this page are works published on the Thai govt website (according to the source above), not pieces of legislation I revised myself according to their amendments. On the source website, when an amendment is enacted, a separate revised edition will be published and the pre-amendment editions previously published are kept intact for historical purposes. I did the same on this page. And I did put the source on the talk page of each edition. So, it could be considered "the published edition of the work at the time of the publication", couldn't it?
- Anyway, what I have to do is to change the namespace of this page from "translation" to "portal", and I have to do the same with the similar pages (such as Translation:Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand (Interim) 2014). Am I correct?
- May I ask you a question? Subpages (such as Translation:Penal Code of Thailand (1957)/Division 2 (a)/2003-08-11) should belong to what namespace, "translation", "portal", or else?
