My name is Simon Peter Hughes and I come from England. I was born in Stratford-upon-Avon, the hometown of William Shakespeare in 1973. I have been teaching English as a foreign language since 1997. I have lived and worked in Turkey, Poland and Japan. I have lived and worked in Taiwan since 2003.

I have been an editor on Wikipedia since August 2006 and I edit several other wikis under the same username I use here. I am an administrator on seven different Fandom wikis including Literature Wiki. Wherever possible, I like to link articles about public domain works and authors on Literature Wiki to the texts here on Wikisource.

I probably won't be making any major contributions for the time being, since I don't have any public domain books with me in Taiwan at the moment.

I would be interested in starting my own translations of some public domain works originally written in French or Spanish in the future, especially if somebody else would be willing to help me.
