Redirects[edit]

I don't believe a redirect with no capitalization, such as at Uk cable on tiananmen square massacre, is necessary in most cases. Generally at Wikisource, a redirect is created for the reasons listed at Help:Redirects#When to use redirects. A redirect may also be created if there is otherwise a very likely chance that the work will be looked up under an alternate or incorrect title, such as in the case of the redirect The Night of the Living Dead -> Night of the Living Dead. But I don't think in this case (or in many cases) that an all-lowercase redirect is necessary. If it was something we wanted for every page, we would probably have a bot deal with making redirects of this sort for all pages, or better yet, make the MediaWiki software deal with it internally such that we wouldn't need lowercase redirects at all. Wikisource's internal software already does that at least in the search bar, and Wiktionary does that a little more thoroughly in page navigation. Happy editing!
