Modern authors

Wikisource does not host pages for authors whose works are not in English or are not released into the public domain. Further, modern works must not be self-published. Please refer to WS:WWI. --EncycloPetey (talk) 01:09, 8 July 2024 (UTC)

This author has works both in English as in other languages. Some of his works are self-published and others are not, should I include only the non-self-published ones? Bedengus (talk) 01:22, 8 July 2024 (UTC)

Only include works that are (1) in English; (2) currently released into the public domain, or published under a Wikisource-compatible license; that (3) were not self-published. Remember that works published in a periodical or journal may be controlled by the journal in which they were published. Wikisource will not host copyrighted works, or works not released under a license compatible with our mission. We also do not maintain lists of works by modern authors if we cannot host those works. --EncycloPetey (talk) 02:37, 8 July 2024 (UTC)
