Changing template[edit]

Please ask the community before making changes to templates. --EncycloPetey (talk) 16:35, 24 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The reason why is because some of them haven't been edited in years. Thanks for letting me know. CentralTime301 (talk) 16:36, 24 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
There is no requirement that templates be regularly edited. --EncycloPetey (talk) 16:36, 24 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
That's because there might not be so much active users in this wiki so that means they may not reply to my answer to change the user warning templates after I left a message on the user warning talk page. CentralTime301 (talk) 16:38, 24 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
On Wikisource, instead of leaving a message on a Template talk page, the best place is to post at the central discussion page, the Scriptorium. Procedures and norms are different here on Wikisource from what they are on Wikipedia. --EncycloPetey (talk) 16:55, 24 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
 Comment: I was thinking of making a block template called Template:Spamblock. CentralTime301 (talk) 16:45, 24 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Why? What would be the purpose of having such a template? --EncycloPetey (talk) 16:53, 24 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Like I said, thanks for letting me know. CentralTime301 (talk) 17:05, 24 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
