Changing template

[edit]

Please ask the community before making changes to templates. --EncycloPetey (talk) 16:35, 24 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

The reason why is because some of them haven't been edited in years. Thanks for letting me know. CentralTime301 (talk) 16:36, 24 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
There is no requirement that templates be regularly edited. --EncycloPetey (talk) 16:36, 24 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
That's because there might not be so much active users in this wiki so that means they may not reply to my answer to change the user warning templates after I left a message on the user warning talk page. CentralTime301 (talk) 16:38, 24 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
On Wikisource, instead of leaving a message on a Template talk page, the best place is to post at the central discussion page, the Scriptorium. Procedures and norms are different here on Wikisource from what they are on Wikipedia. --EncycloPetey (talk) 16:55, 24 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
 Comment: I was thinking of making a block template called Template:Spamblock. CentralTime301 (talk) 16:45, 24 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Why? What would be the purpose of having such a template? --EncycloPetey (talk) 16:53, 24 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Like I said, thanks for letting me know. CentralTime301 (talk) 17:05, 24 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
