Unlinked tag on History of Washington

Hi Jmabel, and thanks for contributing to Wikisource! Please assume good faith in dealings with your fellow editors. The purpose of the {{unlinked}} tag on History of Washington was merely to indicate that the page hadn’t been linked to by any other page on Wikisource, which means that it could be harder for users to locate. Tagging a page as {{unlinked}} flags it for users or administrators who monitor the list at Category:Unlinked to add an appropriate link, such as an author page or a link from one of the appropriate subject matter index pages under Wikisource:Works; it’s by no means an indication that the text should be deleted or that the contributions aren’t welcomed. I see that you have now added links from both Author:Clinton A. Snowden and Anti-Chinese Riots At Seattle, so the {{unlinked}} tag can be removed. Tarmstro99 18:23, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the clarification. I never before had someone put a tag like that on something while I was still entering it, and it does say that the page may be suitable for deletion. - Jmabel 18:25, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

License for "Seattle: Booms and Busts"

Hi, I've happened on the fascinating Seattle: Booms and Busts. Looks like a real treasure to have this text freely licensed! As I see you explained in your initial edit.

I was wondering, do you know if there is an entry for this in OTRS? Obviously your initial upload would have been well before that system was established. But, to be sure there will be no deletion down the road if somebody is skeptical about its origins, might it be worthwhile to put an entry there, and link it from the text? -Pete (talk) 17:28, 18 January 2022 (UTC)
