Abraham Lincoln[edit]

Hi P. S.: I made a few changes to Page:Life and Works of Abraham Lincoln, v3.djvu/17 and Page:Life and Works of Abraham Lincoln, v3.djvu/18 to make them match other chapters of this work: no bold, an extra line breaks to divide sections, normal size subheadings. If you could keep these things in mind that would be great, if you disagree let me know, and in any case, thanks for the proofing! --Spangineer (háblame) 21:22, 17 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I changed the rest, to correspond with your edits. Can you check if I did it right? P. S. Burton (talk) 21:29, 17 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Looks good; thanks! --Spangineer (háblame) 21:33, 17 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for providing this article. I really enjoyed reading it and am hoping you know of more by the same author. Regards, Mattisse (talk) 20:59, 19 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Glad you liked it. I have uploaded one more of Park's articles here. Regards, —P. S. Burton (talk) 23:25, 19 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I messed up the page order in the file, I need to fix it before it can be proofread. P. S. Burton (talk) 09:03, 20 January 2011 (UTC) Fixed[reply]

Do you mind if I change this page to not use serif fonts? I don't think it's a good idea to attempt to change fonts unless they are specifically used by the author to distinguish some text from other text. And regardless, readers can switch to serif fonts using the layout button on the left. —Spangineer (háblame) 23:26, 24 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, no problem. --P. S. Burton (talk) 23:28, 24 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Woops, I meant page 3. Just made the change—thanks! —Spangineer (háblame) 23:35, 24 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Difficulties with adding div formatting around transclusions[edit]

When adding div formatting to wrap around transclusions it causes some issues. Firstly it blocks the display of the first page number for each transclusion, and secondly, with the variable layouts that are toggled from the left hand side some formatting will block some of the layouts. It seems that it is preferable to just transclude the text, and let the users choose the layout that they prefer. — billinghurst sDrewth 22:57, 2 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Wikisource User Group[edit]

Wikisource, the free digital library is moving towards better implementation of book management, proofreading and uploading. All language communities are very important in Wikisource. We would like to propose a Wikisource User Group, which would be a loose, volunteer organization to facilitate outreach and foster technical development, join if you feel like helping out. This would also give a better way to share and improve the tools used in the local Wikisources. You are invited to join the mailing list 'wikisource-l' (English), the IRC channel #wikisource, the facebook page or the Wikisource twitter. As a part of the Google Summer of Code 2013, there are four projects related to Wikisource. To get the best results out of these projects, we would like your comments about them. The projects are listed at Wikisource across projects. You can find the midpoint report for developmental work done during the IEG on Wikisource here.
