Labyrinth of Solitude
[edit]Hi, Primetime,
Thanks for your interest in Wikisource. I've noticed that you're the primary (maybe even sole) contributor of Labyrinth of Solitude, a translation of a work published in 1959. However, because Octavio Paz has just recently, and because I can find no indication that he released his works in the public domain, I have reason to believe that the Labyrinth of Solitude is a copyright infringement. As such, I've listed it on Wikisource:Possible copyright violations. If I am mistaken, please contest my listing it there, but otherwise it will be deleted shortly.
I wanted to tell you before you spent too much time working on adding this text.—Zhaladshar (Talk) 22:16, 6 February 2006 (UTC)
- Quoted from User_Talk:Jusjih:
- I understand it's really easy for you to delete other people's work, but I would have appreciated it if you had warned me so I could have moved "Labyrinth of Solitude" to Wikiquote. You also could have pressed CTRL+C and CTRL+V on your keyboard to move it yourself, but that would have too hard for someone like you to do, I guess. --Primetime 04:42, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
- Primetime, you were notified above by Zhaladshar 06 February 2006. Transwiki'ing consists of more than copy and pasting; please refrain from ad hominem attacks. If you'd like to retrieve the deleted text, feel free to leave a request on my talk page. // Pathoschild (admin / talk) 05:35, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
- The text has been moved into your namespace (User:Primetime/Labyrinth of Solitude). Note that it will be deleted within a few days, as it is a copyright violation. // Pathoschild (admin / talk) 22:24, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
- I have copied the text to Wikiquote. --Primetime 01:07, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
- Deleted. :) // Pathoschild (admin / talk) 07:06, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
I have received your message. I suppose that all actions wanted have been completed, right? I did not realize that you would like to move the content to Wikiquote.--Jusjih 02:10, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
from I can support you.
[edit]Let's not email right now, Primetime. We can discuss, on MY talk page, the necessary technologies you mustered to introduce sockpuppets and introduce copyvios on Wikipedia, Wiktionary, etc. Then you can give a copy of the said technologies over to me. I tried to email you over at Wikiquote, but I was blocked AGAIN by Kalki. When I am unblocked I will have my revenge against Kalki. --Huard117 00:12, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
blocked
[edit]Hi, I have blocked you here due to the Wikipedia block. I have looked through your contribs, and dont see a problem here, so I will be happy to unblock you for a trial period if requested. John Vandenberg 03:05, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Primetime. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Primetime~enwikisource that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
