Formatting for this work[edit]

Sidenotes[edit]

The work contains left and right sidenotes, which means that when we translude the work we need to pull all the sidenotes to the one side of the work. To format this work please use a{{outside L}} on left-sided pages (even numbers) and {{outside RL}} on right-sided pages (odd numbers). These sidenotes are also in small-caps, so you can wrap the text like this

{{outside L|{{sc|Introductory sidenotes}}}}

For further formatting of the sidenotes, if we are looking to apply other formatting, to these, we can look to get a bot to apply that consistency later. — billinghurst sDrewth 10:07, 1 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Header & footer[edit]

Preloaded into the

  • header is {{sidenotes begin}}{{RunningHeader|||}}, which should then just require the requisite left or right combination ''header title''|page no.
  • footer is <references/>{{sidenotes end}} which generally doesn't need altering.

Chapter headings[edit]

So far I have added formatting on chapter beginning as centered, chapter line larger and the name line as italics, eg.

{{center|{{larger|CHAPTER I.}}

''OF THE ENGLISH CARICATURE AND ITS DECAY.''}}
