Decimals[edit]

Figures presented in this volume have the decimal point placed at the median line as "29•5" instead of on the baseline as with the standard modern "29.5". It is not necessary to duplicate the floating-ness of the decimal points. Use the standard modern decimal to avoid confusion, as this is merely a Victorian typesetting quirk. --EncycloPetey (talk) 06:40, 1 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Sections[edit]
