Page view statistics[edit]

Pinging recently active admins @Billinghurst, @EncycloPetey: as I'm not sure how well-patrolled protected edit requests are; Please change the link to point to:

//tools.wmflabs.org/pageviews#project=en.wikisource.org&pages={{FULLPAGENAMEE}}

stats.grok.se no longer works, and is considerably less acurrate than the new pageviews API offered by WMF. Hope this helps MusikAnimal (talk) 04:24, 9 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

@MusikAnimal: Done Thanks for your diligence. — billinghurst sDrewth 10:23, 9 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
@Billinghurst, @EncycloPetey: MusikAnimal also created the following this weekend for the Italian Wikisource, for viewing the total page views for an entire book, if you are in the main namespace, which could also be added here:

{{#ifeq:{{NAMESPACENUMBER}}|0|'''·''' [https://tools.wmflabs.org/massviews?project={{SERVERNAME}}&source=subpages&target=http:{{urlencode:{{fullurl:{{ROOTPAGENAME}}}}}}

See, for example, the full view count for Verso la cuna del mondo at the link generated for it here. AFAIK it should work exactly the same here. Sam Walton (talk) 20:06, 3 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Thanks SamWalton9. I saw the mention on MW and have the page open for when I get to creative stuff later today. We should look at what we can showcase, or leading works that we have with subpages. — billinghurst sDrewth 21:41, 3 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
